Hey guys! 

Welcome to my blog, The Wandering Lens. 

My name is Talita, and I'm a photographer. I recently moved to Germany, where I've been completely spell bound and amazed at the incredible beauty surrounding me. Its so green here! Despite the fact that I miss those back in US dearly, I'm enjoying being in such a wonderful place. 

I'm kind of new to photography, but I've taken a few pretty good pictures. I'm definitely enjoying figuring out my camera and using my siblings as models. Its also been a lot of fun to see the world around me through the lens of a camera that can capture what my eyes see. 

I don't know how often I'll publish, but I know that I'll try to often. I have a lot of new things to document. 

Over time, this blog might transition from my photography and experiences with photography to my experiences in life. I'm not sure if it'll happen consciously, but if I do, I promise I'll still publish some of my photography every once and a while.  

Please feel free to comment on my writing and photography below, I love reading comments on my things!

Day 2

Hey guys! Day two of my blog!  I know its more like the first day, but still. This is my second post, so lets pretend I posted the last post yesterday, ok?  I took some awesome pictures yesterday. My family and a friends family went to a castle in Borg, Königstein, Germany for a jousting tournament. It was so cool!  Of course, they put the midevil torture chamber directly at the entrance. It was super interesting at first... and then I quickly grew to feel sick. The smell of food blowing in didn't help either. Anyway, I took some awesome pictures of the town near the castle, and there were even some pretty cool musicians there, playing on bagpipes and drums. The view from the castle was incredible, so naturally I took plenty of pictures. Most of the pictures are the view from the hill the castle was on and in the town the castle is next to, but the second picture is of the actual castle. I had a lot of fun with these pictures and this experience. Anywayyy, I hope your day...
